As the transatlantic cargo market enters the summer season, the average air cargo spot rate from Europe to North America saw a 13% decrease in the week ending 28 April compared to four weeks earlier, settling at USD 1.88 per kg. While this rate reflects a 20% drop from the same week last year, it remains 14% higher than the corresponding week in 2019.
