Amsterdam Airport Schiphol handled 𝟭𝟭𝟴,𝟲𝟴𝟱 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 of air cargo in 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, slightly higher than in August, though still 8% below the same month last year.

The belly vs. full freighter split shifted to 𝟰𝟰% / 𝟱𝟲%, a 2-point gain for belly freight.

The total split between 𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 and 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 volumes was 𝟱𝟰% / 𝟰𝟲%. 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 volumes to the 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 grew by 8% year-on-year, and 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 grew by 1%. Since 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲, outbound volumes to the 𝗨𝗦 have consistently been 17-18% lower than in the same months last year, reflecting recent 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗜𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 flows declined across most regions, except for 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲, which recorded 𝟮% 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵.

𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 in September included: electrical machinery, flowers, fashion, fish, fruit & vegetables, spare parts and pharmaceuticals.

𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆–𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿), Schiphol Cargo handled 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 — 1,039,833 tonnes in total.
