After strong growth in January and February, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ตย showed a slight decline (-๐ฏ%), mainly due to ongoing geopolitical developments in the ๐ ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐. Total air cargo tonnage in March reached ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ด,๐ฎ๐ด๐ญ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐. Theย ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐-๐ณ๐๐น๐น ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ in March reached ๐ฐ๐ญ% / ๐ฑ๐ต%, with full freighters gaining three percentage points compared to the same month last year.
The ๐ถ๐ป๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ/๐ผ๐๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ were split ๐ฑ๐ฏ% / ๐ฐ๐ณ%. Inbound volumes continued to show strong growth from the Far East (+8%), Middle/South America (+18%) and Africa (+15%), Middle East showed a decrease of 47%. On the outbound side, Far East (+10%) and Africa grew (+8%) yearโonโyear,ย volumes to the US were slightly below last year (-4%), and volumes to the Middle East decreased 50%.
The top commodities in March included electrical machinery, flowers, fashion, fruit & vegetables, pharmaceuticals, fish and spare parts.
