Amsterdam Airport Schiphol handled 𝟏𝟐𝟏,𝟎𝟑𝟒 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬 of air cargo in February 2026, extending the strong start to the year. This represents an 𝟏𝟏% 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 compared to February 2026. The 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲-𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 freighter split reached 𝟒𝟑% / 𝟓𝟕%, with full freighters gaining three percentage points compared to the same month last year. The current geopolitical developments in the Middle East are not yet reflected in the February cargo figures.
The 𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝/𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟓𝟓% / 𝟒𝟓% volumes were split accordingly. Inbound volumes showed strong growth from the 𝐅𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 (+27%), 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 (+26%) and 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞/𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 (+33%). On the outbound side, 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 +𝟗% year on year, volumes to the 𝐔𝐒 remained below last year (‑𝟔%), and volumes to the 𝐅𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 -𝟐%.
The top commodities in February included 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭 & 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡, 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐬, and 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬.
In addition to air cargo tonnages, Schiphol handled 𝟑𝟓,𝟗𝟕𝟓 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬 of Road Feeder Service cargo (trucked air cargo), representing 𝐚 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞.
