Swissport Terminal 11 – Tijdelijke Weekendregeling Vrachtverkeer / Temporary Measures Weekend Traffic | Swissport

Nu we het einde van het jaar naderen, willen we u informeren over de operatie bij Swissport Terminal 11 en de tijdelijke maatregelen die we invoeren om de toenemende landside activiteiten te beheersen.

Deze maatregelen zijn afgelopen weekend getest tijdens een pilot. Door het positieve resultaat worden ze tot het einde van het jaar verlengd, dit betreft alleen de weekenden. En geldt uitsluitend voor Terminal 11, niet voor Terminals 7, 9 of 12.

Situatie: 

• De vrachtvolumes stijgen aanzienlijk richting het einde van het jaar, en deze trend zal naar verwachting aanhouden.
• Dit vraagt om extra aansturing aan de landside-kant van vrijdagavond tot zondagavond bij Swissport Terminal 11.

Maatregelen vrijdags vanaf 21:00 uur:

1. Wanneer Swissport Terminal 11 vol is en geen extra trucks kan ontvangen, ontstaat er file/opstopping op de openbare weg (Anchoragelaan) dit moet worden voorkomen.
2. Een verkeerscoördinator noteert het telefoonnummer van elke wachtende chauffeur en verwijst hen naar truck parking 3 (TP3). Dit geldt voor alle RFS- en lokale trucks. TP3 is hiervoor kosteloos, en chauffeurs ontvangen een uitrijkaart.
3. Zodra laad- of losdocks beschikbaar komen, wordt de eerstvolgende chauffeur op TP3 gebeld en toegelaten tot het terrain van Swissport Terminal 11.

Focus tijdens de weekendpiek:

• Export aanleveringen krijgen prioriteit voor toegang tot de docks.
• Export RFS (Road Feeder Services) krijgen eveneens prioriteit om de doorstroming te waarborgen.
• Import pick-ups: we vragen chauffeurs vriendelijk om tijdens deze piekperiode zo veel mogelijk import pick-ups te vermijden. Om dit te ondersteunen wordt de vrije loodshuur voor import tijdelijk verlengd van 18 uur naar 48 uur.

Deze regeling geldt voor alle NOA’s die worden verzonden tussen zaterdag 00:00 en maandag 00:00.

Wij waarderen uw medewerking en begrip terwijl we werken aan veilige en efficiënte operaties tijdens deze drukke periode.

As we approach the end of the year, we would like to inform you about the operations at Swissport Terminal 11 and the temporary measures we are introducing to manage the increasing landside activity.

These measures were tested during a pilot last weekend. Due to the successful outcome, they will be extended through the end of the year during weekends only. They apply only to Terminal 11, not to Terminals 7, 9, or 12. 

Situation:

• Cargo volumes are rising significantly toward year-end, and this trend is expected to continue.
• This increase requires additional landside control from Friday evening through Sunday evening at Swissport Terminal 11.

Measures starting Fridays at 21:00 hrs:

1. When Swissport Terminal 11 is occupied and cannot accept additional trucks, queues will form on the public road which needs to be avoided
2. A Traffic Coordinator will note the phone number of each waiting driver and direct them to parking area TP3. This applies to all RFS and local trucks. TP3 will be free of charge, and drivers will receive an exit card.
3. Once loading or unloading docks become available, the first driver at TP3 will be contacted and allowed to enter Swissport Terminal 11.

Focus during the weekend peak:

• Export deliveries will be prioritized for dock access.
• Export RFS (Road Feeder Services) will also receive priority to maintain flow.
• Import pickups: we kindly ask drivers to avoid visiting during this peak period whenever possible. To support this, the free storage time for import will temporarily increase from 18 hours to 48 hours.
  This applies to all NOAs sent from Saturday 00:00 until Monday 00:00.
