Dutch cargo hub maintains Phytosanitary Inspection Centre status for plants and plant products entering the EU.
Maastricht Aachen Airport’s (MST) Cargo Terminal East has been reapproved as a Phytosanitary Inspection Centre by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). This means that flowers, fruit, vegetables, and plant-based products can enter the EU via the airport, and checks and inspections will continue at MST to verify that plant shipments do not contain harmful organisms and to ensure product quality.
