The United States Customs and Border Protection (U.S. CBP) updated earlier this year their Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) Implementation Guide. The U.S. CBP ACAS Implementation Guide’s latest version 2.3.3 from October 2024 can be found here: https://www.cbp.gov/document/guides/air-cargo-advance-screening-acas-implementation-guide. On that same month of October, IATA adapted its “Other Customs, Security and Regulatory Control Information (OCI) Composition Rule Table” to enable the industry to provide in IATA standard messages the additional details not already captured in existing data fields for both C-IMP and C-XML messages.
