Global airfreight tonnage in March dropped 4% year on year as the war in the Middle East continued, shows the latest WorldACD data.
This followed 8% year on year global growth in January and 7% growth in February, said the air cargo market data provider.
The Middle East and South Asia (MESA) region “took the majority of the impact” with a 21% drop in tonnage year on year, reported WorldACD.
