Het SCMP-programma werd in 2015 opgericht om Schiphol te helpen zijn leidende rol in luchtvracht te behouden. Het is een innovatieprogramma, waarin een actieve vertegenwoordiging van ketenspelers werkt aan oplossingen voor de cargo community, ondersteund door Royal Schiphol Group, Cargonaut en brancheorganisatie Air Cargo Netherlands (ACN).
